Guest speakers Cathy Francois and Jeremy Watson presented invaluable information about how to find your perfect internship or job opportunity.

 
Cathy is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator based in the Greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area serving clients nationwide. She is also a Career Coach at American Public University System, conference speaker, workshop facilitator, and an active blogger with works featured on blogs such as OnlineCareerTips.com, CareersinGovernment.com, and DCjobs.com.
 
Jeremy is currently a Harvard MBA student. Prior to that, he spent two years in Arlington County Virginia as a Capital Project Manager and three years at Parsons in Washington, D.C. as an Associate Engineer. Jeremy holds a Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. Throughout his summers while in University of Florida’s Civil Engineering program, Jeremy was able to solidify powerful opportunities with major organizations with both local and national scope including an internship with one of the country’s premier design consulting firms. Through approaching on-campus recruiters, network research, and on-campus organizational involvement, among other strategies, Jeremy had priceless opportunities during his undergraduate experience and beyond.
