George Bullard, Jr. – Second-Year Student at Clark Atlanta University

Check out our seventh and last Project Inspire Scholarship feature, George Bullard, Jr. This scholarship recipient graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High School in South Florida and decided to take the leap and become an out-of-state student at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA! Learn more about what he’s up to below:

This semester, what organizations are you currently involved in on campus?
I am involved in the CAU Honors Program, CAU Players, Breaking the Cycle, and the National Society of Black Engineers.

What community service have you participated in this semester?
I worked as a stagehand for “The Shape of Things” play, and I have participated in several informational discussion panels.

What is one awesome thing you love about college (and maybe even your college specifically)?
I love the sense of community, ambition and drive that college provides me with. I also enjoy being able to contribute to this environment, bettering both myself and those around me.

What would you like to tell our funders?
Thank you so much for contributing to my education. My matriculation has definitely been made easier through the funding you have provided me.
