Project Inspire proudly announces a new partnership with McKinley Technology High School in Northeast Washington, D.C. In late November, we commenced with unique programming for students in the McKinley Tech colorguard program in grades 9-12. Upcoming programming will focus on empowerment and confidence building through college preparation, dance instruction and colorguard techniques. Additionally, Project Inspire will contribute to the school’s current college preparation opportunities available for the growing Phoenixes–the school mascot. Juniors and Seniors at McKinley Tech will also be eligible to participate in Project Inspire’s own Daphne L. Charles Auxiliary Scholarship Program. If selected for this competitive program, students will receive individualized instruction on college and career preparation, social and professional etiquette and gain mentors to aid in both their academic and professional development. We look forward to developing this phenomenal partnership!
